There are a variety of ways to use Q*Cardz™ in the learning process.
Our efforts are currently focused on these two ends of the pedagogical spectrum:

At one point in history — before literacy, before the printing press —
everything that was learned had to be memorized and passed on verbally.
Now we are at a point in human development where almost anything can be 'looked up' quickly on the Internet.
Much less emphasis is put on memorization.
In fact, in some educational arenas, memorization is considered not merely unimportant, but detrimental.
The methodology behind Q*Cardz™ contends that
in any subject area there are foundational vocabulary and core concepts from which the field of study grows.
It is not sufficient for this knowledge to be at a student's fingertips…
they need it in their mind and body; they need to "know it by heart."
Quite simply, they need to memorize it.

provides easy, interactive opportunities for repetitive exposure to assist the memorization process.
The Q*Flipper tracks a student's progress, and refreshes their retention of content over time.
The goal of this learning tool and the foundational subject-area Q*Cardz™ is
for a student to comprehend, speak about, build upon and connect core vocabulary and concepts.
Through communication of a subject, using a shared language, knowledge in the field expands.

they convey their understanding of a topic through images, text and audio.
Students can work alone or in teams.
